Their mission is to eliminate domestic violence and sexual assault through treatment and prevention services across Oakland County and surrounding communities.
They offer:
- 24-hour emergency shelter for domestic violence or sexual assault victims and their children
- Safe Therapeutic Assault Response Team (START) – comprehensive medical assessment, treatment, support and a forensic exam for the collection of evidence within 96 hours of the incident
- Personal Protection Order (PPO) program – assistance and reassurance to victims of stalking, sexual and domestic violence who may be intimidated by the PPO process.
- Counseling, and a number of other programs.
